The above comic, written by John Darkow, shows a casually dressed Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich holding protest signs and yelling accusations at Mitt Romney. They are accusing Romney of being a greedy capitalist and a job destroyer. While this is occurring, Mitt Romney thinks to himself about how annoying all these Occupy Wall Street protestors are.
This comic is making fun of Newt Gingrich's and Rick Perry's attempts to discredit Romney's campaign by bringing up his past as a corporate fat cat. Romney, as you probably know, has become the candidate Republicans love to hate and as the front runner he's been receiving a lot of flak, because he is so disliked. I also feel that the author is also portraying both Perry and Gingrich as hypocrites, because both candidates have themselves been accused of shady corporate business in their pasts as well. This comic also compares Perry's and Gingrich's accusations to the accusations made by those participating in the Occupy Wall Street movement whose members are also complaining about corporate corruption.
