This comic by Joe Heller, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, shows the four candidates still running (Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, and Ron Paul) being portrayed as the characters in the comedy show "Two and a Half Men" while the GOP elephant sits watching thinking "uhhhh, winning?" which is a quote from Charlie Sheen one of the actors who was on the show. The three candidates who have a chance (Gingrich, Romney, and Santorum) our shown on the front screen and represent the "three" part of the three and a half men joke, because each one of them has won a state primary election unlike Paul who has won none and is the "half" part of the three and a half men joke. The Republican party elephant thinks the question "uhhhh winning?" because not only are these candidates neck-and-neck with each other but also because these candidates are so "extreme" that's hard to tell if any of them are actually capable of winning.
What Heller is trying to say through this comic is that the Republican primary has become more of a comedy then a real election and the rest of the Republican party can only sit back and ask themselves "are we really winning?". With three primaries through and three different victors in each it could be anyone’s game, well except Ron Paul who doesn't seem to be gaining traction. Rick Santorum also seems to be near the end of his campaign. Although Santorum did win Iowa it was by a small amount and his radical social policies can only get him so far, he did very poorly in the last two primaries. It seems what this race will come down to Gingrich vs. Romney or Romney supporters vs. everyone who hates Romney. To be honest viewer I don't know who will win but I do know this whoever does win will go on to participate in one of the most important elections in the history of these United States.
