Current Event one

Febuary 7th

As of late Josefina Vazquez Mota has become the first women to represent a major party for the Mexican presidential. This may seem like an exciting oppurtunity for the  Mexican population to expand on the rights of women, but the presidentail race appears to be made up of canidates who are lacking. Similar to the Republican Part presidential candidate nominations in America, the Mexican presidential candidates are made up of an array of less than promising characters. Josefina is not looked upon as a good choice because of her repetitive and vague answers. Another candidate, Enrique Peña Nieto has had similarly vague moments and repetitive mess ups. The final candidate, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, is the former mayor of Mexico city. He is incredibly radical and unstable, but expects his people to support him relentlessly similar to Jesus's followers. With the current crop of candidates the Mexican government and the Mexican people are facing another few years of political problems.
