Current Event three

Two Iranian warships sailed through Egypt's Suez Canal into the Mediterreanian sea later this week not only raising already heightened tensions between Western Europe and the U.S. but also putting Egypt's new military leadership into question because it was them that gave the Iranians the green light to pass through the canal. Egypt is at worst terms with it's neighbor Israel for obvious reasons. This is only the second time in recent history that Iranian ships such as these have moved into the Suez Canal since the Islamic republic's 1979 revolution. Now tensions have been bad as of late between the West and Iran for a number of reasons including the Iranian attempt to create atomic energy and possible an atomic bomb which they could use aganist the Israelies, one of America's greatest allies, or maybe even America itself. This act may be an answer to Israeli threats to take military strikes aganist Iranian nuclear facilities if they do not cooperate with the U.N. and do not cease with the creation of nuclear material. Hopefully these actions do not end in violence but from where it looks now tensions are too high to be sure.
